Backend Developer
We’re looking for a backend developer to join our team in Brno. You'll be working on the development of digital libraries and tools for analysis, management, automation, and data accessibility in memory institutions. The position is suitable for experienced developers, but also for motivated students and graduates of computer science with an interest in backend and DevOps.

What will you be doing?
Develop and extend backend systems and APIs.
Implement and optimize server-side logic in Java and Node.js/TypeScript.
Manage and optimize databases, especially PostgreSQL.
Participate in the design and development of application architecture.
Collaborate on DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and application deployment into the infrastructure.

What do we expect?

Experience with Java, Node.js, and API development.
Solid knowledge of TypeScript.
Knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and application deployment.
Independence, analytical thinking, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
An advantage is experience with Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, or Solr.
