Kramerius is a modern system for libraries, archives and other memory institutions to preserve and make cultural heritage accessible to the general public.
Kramerius is the most widely used open-source system for the presentation and management of digitized funds, which is used by most libraries in the Czech Republic. It offers users intuitive viewing of digitized books, newspapers, maps and other documents, the ability to browse through historical editions, and advanced search, including full-text content search.
The continuous development and integration of artificial intelligence brings new possibilities such as semantic search based on the meaning of text, search for similar images and documents, automatic translation, reading and summarization of articles.

At Trinera, we have been involved in the development of Krameria for a long time — from the design of new functions, to development, to the integration of artificial intelligence, which takes working with data to a whole new level.
Today, the system makes more than 400,000 titles available and serves hundreds of thousands of users a month. In addition to intuitive viewing of books, newspapers, maps or music, it also offers automatic translations, reading aloud or summarizing content.
Our goal is not just to write code -- we help libraries really bring their collections to life. Kramerius is proof of what a meaningful interconnection of technology, data and cultural heritage can look like.
